The Journals
In each cabin at Columbine, we keep journal notebooks, both blank and those filled with many years of entries past, for our guests to write in what they will and to read at their leisure. We have included some of the more anonymous excerpts herein, to pique your imagination for when you visit and are inspired to write in the journal of your cabin. Sometimes there are illustrations, sometimes pages are filled with heartfelt outpourings of emotion, or just a simple list of fish caught and animals seen. The Journals seem to inspire our guests to relate their experience to the next traveler, passing it forward as it were, often as revealing as the retelling of your innermost secrets to a stranger on a plane or a train, or simply satisfying the urge to tell a joke, the books will remain as a mark in time.
Come and stay at Columbine and write a part of your story.
This was our third stay in the Merchants cabin. The weather was beautiful. The skies cobalt blue and the fishing was awesome. We caught our limit of all 14" - 16" rainbows and cutthroats.
We'll be back next year, hopefully!
